About Us

Willow + Eucalyptus began as a dream-seed in 2011 when Stephanie was decorating for her oldest son’s first birthday. Since then, she’s loved designing, decorating, and planning numerous baby showers, bridal showers, weddings, birthdays, and church events for friends and family.

We often get asked about our name and would like to take a moment to share a bit about it. Willow + Eucalyptus comes from a couple thoughts and ideas. Although willow trees and eucalyptus have both always been a favorite of Stephanie’s, there’s really so much more to it.

During one of her more prominent crucial decision seasons earlier in her life, there were a couple scriptures that Stephanie stood on, trusting the direction she was getting was right. Psalm 1:3 says that those whose delight is in the Lord “…will be like a tree firmly planted [and fed] by streams of water, which yields its fruit in its season; Its leaf does not wither; and in whatever he does, he prospers [and comes to maturity].” Jeremiah 17:8, which says this same thing, was the other. Willow trees are typically found close to or next to ponds, streams, and lakes and are extremely effective in the reduction of land erosion. As long as it stays connected to the source, it prospers and grows.

The “Eucalyptus” of W+E is not only one of her favorite adornments to arrangements, but it is generally used for healing applications— opening up airways to encourage deeper & fuller breaths and has calming affects, typically used as a stress-reducer.

These thoughts together are essentially our hope as you work with W+E — that you feel at ease and can take comfort in knowing we’re taking care of your event so you and your guests can enjoy your celebration. It’s also our hope that no matter what issues may come up, we would be steady and reliable…a “stress-reducer” and that what we put our hands to will prosper because we are staying connected to the source.
